If you are looking to install a new multimedia system in your bar/restaurant or upgrade the existing systems we are here to help. We work on projects big or small and can work to any budget.

Our Services

 

Visual: Projectors, televisions, video walls, digital signage, you name it we can do it. As well as supplying and installing these components we can also install Full HD or 4K video distribution systems to allow for reliable signal transmission to each screen from centrally located Sky TV or other media streamers.

Audio: We can help you design a multi zone restaurant sound system with paging and volume control in each zone. We can arrange for larger more powerful speakers in the bar area with and ceiling speaker or pendant type speakers throughout the dining room and restrooms, the options are endless.

Control: We can design and program a customised control system to allow easy control of all multimedia systems from a single simple interface. We aim to keep the control as easy as possible so different managers or bar staff can easily control all of the systems.

Security:  CCTV camera systems with local or cloud storage options

WiFi & IT networking: We can help ensure perfect WiFi coverage throughout your restaurant or bar area. We can create separate guest and staff WiFi networks and can help hard wire all important equipment.

Equipment supply and installation

 

We are not tied into using any one manufacturer so when we are designing systems we can choose from a huge portfolio of different products and choose the right equipment for your project and budget. We have speakers that can be hidden inside the ceiling, wall mounted, hung from the ceiling and they can even be colour matched to match the existing decor. We understand that multimedia installations and upgrades can be disruptive to your business so we are happy to meet and complete the installation outside of business hours. 

Projects big or small

 

We take on projects both big & small. Whether it be a small project such as wall mounting a single television or a full on restaurant bar project involving a televisions, sound system, projector or video wall installations, CCTV, 4K video distribution and control system programming we can take it on. No matter the size of project we are happy to take a look and provide a quotation free of charge.

Our process

Initial Meeting & Quotation:

Usually we like to have an initial meeting with you to give us an idea on what technology aspects you require. This initial meeting can also be extremely informative for you and will help us to propose a system that best fits your needs and budget.  We will then supply you with a fully itemised quotation. Included in this quotation will be the planning, all cabling & equipment, installation/configuration and client handover and instruction. 

 

Planning:

Once the quotation has been agreed we will start the design stage. If necessary we will create cabling and installation schematics. We are happy to work directly with your electricians, carpenter or cabinet makers if our installation effects their scope of works.

Installation:

With larger systems we tend to place all the background equipment in a dedicated equipment rack. The internet router, switches, amplifiers, mixers, TV set top boxes & digital signage equipment can be all hidden away out of sight. When possible we like to build the system in our offices so it can be configured, tested and programmed before being install in your property. Our engineers will display a top level of care whilst working within your business. Dust sheets and floor protection will be used and all rubbish will be taken away.  We even offer a service where which we will remove &    recycle old equipment / televisions.  

Handover:

Once the system in fully installed and tested we will meet with you to put any finishing touches on the system and to show off the operation of the system. With larger more complex systems we will even provide a system handover document detailing system use. 

After care and system servicing:

For equipment we honour the individual manufacturers warranty periods. If say an amplifier or electronic component goes faulty within the warranty period we will send the unit in for repair / replacement and reinstall it free of charge. Outside of this warranty period we would charge labour but at a reduced rate. For larger projects we often will include some equipment which will allow us to log into the system remotely, very helpful for making customer requested programming changes or when troubleshooting issues. We can also offer annual servicing visits in which we come update all system software, dust off and check all system components. 

About us

Sean Hardiman is the founder of Kiwi SmartHaus. He was born and raised in New Zealand. Very early, he discovered his passion for Technology. In his 20s he moved to the UK to continue his career there. Sean loves his homeland, but even more he loves his wife and his 2 children and moved with them to Vienna.

 

He has many years of experience in developing and installing Smart Home Systems in New Zealand, the UK and Austria. He co founded a successful home technology company in London which won several CEDIA Home Technology Awards. Sean regularly attends industry training sessions to update his knowledge with new Technologies and Products.
